Shape Rush is a fast paced rhythm platformer where reflexes and timing dictate how far you can go. Instead of freely controlling your character in the usual way, you'll be accompanied by a geometric symbol constantly moving forward through spiked tracks, gaps, and portals.

Shape Rush Transformations

Shape Rush's unique feature is its portal system. When passing through these portals, your character will transform, completely changing their physics and controls. This is also why the game has depth and requires you to adapt extremely quickly:

Cube - Classical Thinking

This is the most basic form; you just tap to jump over obstacles. However, as a warning, "fake beats" will constantly trick you, causing you to jump at the wrong time and crash straight into spikes.

Ship - Hovering and Precision

In this mode, hold down the key to ascend and release to descend. There's no more "jumping"; you must smoothly control the ship through deadly narrow gaps.

Ball - Gravity Reversal

A single touch reverses gravity, turning the ceiling into the floor and vice versa. The trick is the inertia of the ball, which can make you lose control if you don’t get it right. You will have to “roll” in a rhythmic way.

6 Levels – A Journey from Easy to Terrifying

Shape Rush has 6 levels at the moment, each level has a unique electronic music track and obstacle layout. All music is by DJVI who creates a familiar yet fascinating ambiance.

• Dream Dash (Easy) - First level to get you used to the rhythm and basic controls.
• Back On Track 2.0 & Dry Out 2.0 (Medium) - Speed steadily increases, obstacle clusters are denser, requiring a higher level of focus.
• Base After Base 2.0 (Hard) - Things begin to get tricky. The stages will test you with mind-bending puzzles.
• Very Hard Reapers & Club Madness The Ultimate Test - Any gamer will have a nightmare with mind-blowing speed, intricate formations and heavy soundtrack.

Listen More Than Watch

Your eyes cannot be trusted. Let the drum beat carry you. With skill, you can use your ears to "read" the map beforehand.

Break Down The Problem

Don't think about completing the entire level at once. Break the path into smaller parts (e.g., from one gate to another) and conquer them one step at a time.

Be Patient With The Ship

With its spaceship shape, release the button a little sooner than your reflexes allow, as the ship has "inertia" and will fly upwards after you release the key.

Stop And Observe

If you die more than 3 times in the same spot, use the next playthrough to stop and carefully observe the next obstacles instead of rushing headlong into them.
